I've been an avid AEW watcher for nearly two years and still watch Dynamite, Rampage and even Dark every week but I'm at my wits end with the booking and need to vent.
>MJF vs. Bryan Danielson
I'll briefly touch upon this feud. We all know the issue - it's yet another MJF feud where he puts barriers in front of his opponent before they can face him. This is the fourth time this has happened in AEW (Cody, Jericho, Wardlow, now Bryan). It's lazy booking, but even worse, this is supposed to be the feud which is holding Dynamite together. MJF is failing as champion because he's doing the same schtick he was doing 2-3 years ago with no progression. This feud also brings me onto my next point;
>The Blackpool Combat Club
What is the point of this group anymore? Regal is gone so the name is redundant. Bryan Danielson is part of the group yet the BCC have barely helped him in the last couple of months. There was some tension between Mox and Bryan which never got resolved because they both moved onto new programs. Apparently they're teaching Yuta to become a better wrestler, but this has never been expanded upon outside of random tag matches on Dark. No promos or video packages. Wheeler Yuta is the perfect example of AEW's storytelling problem - he's a guy who wrestles but has no character or progression, so it's nearly impossible to get invested in him.
