The problem is that they also let Shida go to Japan for an extended period of time at the same time and instead of doing the reasonable thing (having her lose the match she won because they knew she wasn't going to be available) they inserted an after the fact explanation saying that Shida got attacked and was injured without running it past Shida. Shida was openly pissed about it on twitter basically wondering why they'd say she's injured when people can see she's having matches. They had to "talk" with Shida i.e. tell her to correct it in a way that didn't make AEW look bad.
>>8993855>I don't know about RihoAEW conveniently "forgets" to get her visa in order either leaving her stuck in Japan or stuck in the States but with no way to work since she's not on the proper visa for months at a time. Then they bring her back to work Dark a few times and then suddenly it's "visa issues" again. Personally seems like she's intentionally sabotaged because Tony doesn't care about the Japanese women and malds that they're generally more popular than people like Britt and Jade and Saraya and Ruby and etc. with Riho being the most prominent example. Fun fact; Riho's only worked 4 matches for AEW in the last six months, one of them being an exhibition at Tokyo Game Show that AEW never bothered to even film and upload and the other two being Dark matches. She hasn't wrestled at all since November.
