>Hogan says nigger on hidden camera 11 years ago
>banned from AEW and people still won't forgive him or let him live it down to this very day
>Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist who also beat his wife and has a foolish tattoo of a brutal Cuban terrorist who very much hated blacks
>welcomed to AEW with open arms, gets an Adult Swim show (same people who just canned Roiland for domestic abuse) and is beloved by Redditors and the internet at large
Almost nobody brings it up, and when they do, people jump to his defense and make all these excuses. And it's not just AEW fans. It's everybody online. They fell for Tyson's friendly silly meme persona that his publicists and the media crafted for him. I'm not surprised that the same people who think George Takei is smart because he played Sulu also think Tyson is friendly and playful because he played a silly version of himself in a cartoon and is a memeable guy.
It's incredible that in an age where everyone, nobody wants to face that raped a teenager and beat up his wife. In 2023, I thought rape and violence against women was supposed to be this absolutely 100% super-unforgivable worst-thing-ever that's somehow even worse than murder and torture, but it's fine I guess?
I googled Reddit threads about this because I just had to know how those Funko Pops-brained faggots rationalize this. They say shit like it's fine because he served time, but he only served just under three years, less than half of his intended sentence. Reading what they say, it's clear that they think the rape is okay not because he served time but because it's heckin Mike Tyson dude! Didn't you see the wholesome vid where he lost to Glass Joe when he played Punch-Out? And a hecking big chungus cannabis farm! DUDE WEED lmao!
I'm not even mad that he raped that girl or beat his wife. It's the double standard.
