The best part of this whole show was the two surprise NJPW appearances. Not because I think NJPW is so much better than NOAH or anything, but the fact that the companies can do invasions like this with nothing on the card feels really fresh to me.

I really don't get the (few) complaints I saw over this match. Sure, it's an obvious filler defense and Morris isn't the biggest star in NOAH, and maybe it's more fit for a Korakuen defense, but they gave it their all and delivered. Made me doubt Kaito was winning a couple of times.

Happy saturday, based wrestling spirit! So I have to thank you for being an animal of recommendation. I watched the main event of a recent NOAH show, two guys from KONGO I think the group was called (forgive my shit memory for names), and it was fucking incredible. They kicked the motherfuck out of each other and, no joke, I found myself feeling quite appreciative to them for the amazing amount of effort they put in. 110% fucking amazing.

I think that was the match as well, Kenoh vs Nakajima. Those names sound familiar. It was an incredible match. Right before it I watched an older Shibata vs Ishii match that was only about twelve minutes long but it was amazing as well. matches with high intensity are just a joy to watch.

Sounds like the N-1 finals from 2021, if you watched it on Youtube. Definitely one of the best NOAH matches from recent years and it's almost always the one I recommend. Glad you liked it!

I just checked it and that's the one alright. God damnit that match is so good. There's no better way to introduce someone to current NOAH in my opinion, which is just what you did. Do you have any other suggestions for artform matches like that? I feel like I'm speaking blasphemy, but I almost want to say they're as good as Shibata in that match.

You should watch the Kenoh vs. Nakajima rematch from a couple months after the N-1 match. I would suggest you watch the recent GHC history too, at least Marufuji and Nakajima's runs, which were the highest points of NOAH in a long time, in my opinion.
Not exactly as simple and grounded, but Nakajima vs. Kitamiya's cage match from 2021, also on Youtube is great. If you want hard hitting meathead stuff, check out the 2021 GHC National reigns, especially Sugiura vs. Fujita.
