KO could have cost Roman the match so Sami gets the feel good win and then you could either have Sami defend against Roman on the next smackdown and have the Usos screw Sami so you still get Roman vs Cody and Sami/KO vs the Usos at Mania. Or just made it a triple threat at Mania and have Cody pin Roman or something.

They have a story with the bloodline, Sami just turned face and this is his first attempt. He has a whole faction to overcome, why would he just suddenly win right away? They haven't even resolved the Jey Uso part or got Kevin involved yet. You can't end the story when it's still being set up.
