>>9029893 Lemme be real with you all:
You look at that Guevarra and Andretti clip above and I tell you, if that flashy sequence was a start of an important title match for a 2 year long reign where Andretti clawed his way up the roster to get to Sammy, the crowd would be standing. That is the difference in booking whats hot, quick and flashy right now and booking weight and drama with the long term in mind where every single slow strike is note worthy.
It's kinda like we care about the fake championships and the record in the fake ass wrestling because its entertaining, AND because its a four dimensional story. All it means it takes the same number of days IRL to hold that title whether its scripted or not, it took +900 days of hating on Romans cheap as tactics, hating on coconut clones showing up on almost every match, watching Roman getting away with all rule breaks, all the drama and turns,...all of it just to get here. There is mass and weight to it because of the time alone.
When the reign finally breaks it won't just feel triumphant for the winner, it will be an end of an era - people will actually look back to it years from now as a great championship run despite all the same events, coconut interruptions...and there better be something there to carry it to the "new era" something more than a conclusion to a betray that happened few weeks earlier.
