What would be in WWE's best interests would be for Roman to win with bloodline interference, then the match restarts with Sami/Owens coming own and Jey betraying Roman to have Cody win. Then they can spend. A year on a bloodline collapse story where Roman becomes more erratic with Cody having the belt

Out of these guys >>9030878 Lashley is the only believable choice. It might seem stupid to have a guy older than Roman end a 3+ year title run, but no one under the age of 35 could plausibly take the throne without it coming off as desperate and forced. There's no good way out of this.

The order that I listed those guys in order of who should go over. Again, there's no good choice amongst the plausible contenders. Orton is objectively the second best option they have to dethrone Roman.
