Okada's been talking about that for awhile. He had an interview not too long ago about wanting to put over the new generation. I think Okada's ready to just have some fun and go after NJPW midcard belts and appearances in other promotions.

Depends on the dojo and the time period. AJPW had a top rate dojo in the Baba days but barely cranks out anyone now. Even NOAH's is glacial despite having more money these days and plenty of veterans who could work with the trainees.

The anon you were replying to, his point was that only a fucking dumbass mark would go into the dojos RIGHT NOW. The dojo philosophy is brilliant where it weeds out the weak, forces them to drill and do the basics over and over until they can do dark matches, then they can get a gimmick and maybe excursion, then they can come back and have their run, then when their career winds down they participate in the running of the dojo system by helping the guys who run the school full time out by mentoring guys who have a clue.

But if you actually want to do any of this you are a dumbass mark though when even in Japan there are normal wrestling schools

He still has another 3 years as the Ace, easily, in my opinion. Trying to do the Rainmaker Shock again is risky and bound to not work and even with the Rainmaker shock, it still took around 2 years for the Ace roles to actually switch from Tanahashi to Okada

If they're going forward with a young guy for the next WK it's probably Narita or Uemura
I like Umino but he's still too green in the ring, even if he has the japanese 'It' factor. He should be chasing midcard belts and tightening his shit up before anything, treat him like Naito
Narita can work and has some edge to him but I'm unconfidant in how much the crowd actually backs him
It might have to be Uemura
In any case these guys are going to really have to step up this year, especially after Wato crashed and burned so hard, the old guard is slowly starting to transition to the dad division
