That's not true, they had Dean Ambrose fucking bury him on the microphone on his debut then he got a win over Dean, except Dean was leaving so the fans didn't care. It was a complete disaster for EC3

He's jacked and super charismatic so on paper he did seem like he would be a star.
However those are attributes that are only really allowed to shine in WWE so once he didn't work out there it should have been obvious he'd be fucked since he's not a manlet doing flips.
