The trios division was originally meant to keep The Elite and Phil/FTR from butting heads. There's really no reason for them to keep holding the titles post-brawl out, which is why I think they're putting House of Black over at Revolution. Hangman is going to "mend fences" with the bucks and Kenny will focus on singles matches again

That doesn't answer the question of why Jay would be blocked from doing New Japan shows. Even just working Strong every now and then. Tony bars no one from doing indies, why would he bar Jay from working with a promotion he reallyw ants to stay in the good graces of?

Also they could, but if I'm the New Japan office and I don't know which way it'll go, even if I've had some informal talks with TK about it because Jay has made it clear he's outside my price range, I'd do it this way so IF TK did manage to get him, I could do a far more dramatic return to Japan angle later.

Not much point in giving Jay that deal since he's lost not one but two "loser leaves japan" matches. If Kenny wants to go to WWE, I'd rather see him just use this year to wrap things up with New Japan and leave on a positive note with the company and fans. Get some US title defenses in and say his goodbyes at New Year Dash. Then he can debut at the Rumble and get his mania match with AJ
