I have a high tolerance for most drugs and can function in normal life on dosages that they would hesitate to give someone in a hospital. Most people have no idea that I'm on a rotating mix of stimulants and muscle relaxers. I take regulated dosages, not a junky who wakes up and says "man i feel bad today, im gonna take eight of these instead of two!" or anything silly like that. I keep a few months supply of most of my stuff on hand too. A girl who moved in with me for a while lacked all of these aspects - no tolerance, no self control, no ability to regulate. Instead she started out at pretty normal levels and wound up OD'ing because she kept ramping up trying to take the same amounts I do without saying anything to me.
It was scary as shit, one day she just walks into the kitchen and BOOM! falls straight on the floor and starts having a seizure. Foam coming out, banging her head on the floor, all of that shit.
