>Cody talks about his dad last year the night after wrestlemania
>Cody talks about his dad with Paul Heyman 3 weeks ago
>almost every other mention of Dusty has been from the announcers or heels
Am I crazy or am I missing the whole "muh daddeh" thing. He's only explicitly brought it up a few times and even then, honoring your father and speaking highly of him isn't something I would frown upon.
Cody only has a few good wrestling years left. If he doesn't get the WWE title soon, it's likely it will never be held by a Rhodes. That's what he means by finish the story, he has the chance to add one of the last feathers in the cap of his family name (against a Samoan stable called the fucking BLOODLINE btw).
It's a hell of a lot more compelling than saying "ucey" a couple of times.
