It's been nearly 10 years since Roman Reigns got his mega push as the top guy.
He's now entering his SEVENTH WrestleMania main event.

Was it worth it?
How does he rank compared to Hogan, Bret, Shawn, Austin, Rock and Cena?

Nope. The ratings dropped dramatically in 2015/2016 when he became the top star and not Cena.
Compare that to the ratings going up in Cena's first years as the face of the company.

Drove away so many fans that they were forced to make him a heel (4 years after they lost half of their audience)
I'm the only one out of my friend group that still keeps up, but they all gave up when it was clear Roman would be put at the top regardless of what the audience wants.
They wasted so many amazing talents to keep Roman strong.
Everyone is riding on the high of the bloodline storyline (it was only good at the beginning with jey, and the past few months with sami)
but once Mania is over and the ratings go back down to barely a milly, it will be clear that Roman was a mistake.

WWE as a company makes more money than ever. That has nothing to do with Roman. It's due to network contracts, saudi blood money, and carny tactics. All the data shows that Roman was awful for WWE wrestling programming.

I dunno, I always felt his push to be incredibly unnatural. I mean yeah I guess he was popular during The Shield era and now but between it, nobody liked him outside of pajeets.
They took way too long for him to click and even then it's not 100% good and natural. It took him several scripts and writers for him to be OK story wise. In ring he's nothing special either. If it weren't for WWE's hard on for samoans, I'm sure he'd be mid card at best right now.

Streaming existed before Roman was pushed inorganically. TV ratings in general had also declined because of streaming and dvr but if you look at the rate it declined once Roman was pushed into the main event it is like nothing else.
Now as a heel it's all the fat obese smelly retards that are so cucked they voluntarily work themselves into acting like he's a big deal. it's actually really sad.
