I don't get why you all go so hard on this WWE/AEW beef. They're two different products with two different creative visions and appeal. WWE is marketed towards everyone, including women and children and features a prominent women's division.
As I understand it, AEW focuses on the traditional young male adult demo and provides a more narrowly focused alternative to WWE.
Of course, WWE is going to be more popular. Their audience is bigger. I don't really see the point in AEW trying to compete with them and I don't think there is or will ever be a competition. I think they should both try to be the best shows that they can for their audiences. This is not the Monday Night Wars and at this point, they have more to gain by being as different from each other as possible.
