They obviously care to some extent about Liv since they gave her the title and had her last as long as Rhea in the rumble, and they are featuring her regularly, but her small size nearly hardcaps her career. She can't conceivably compete against the big muscle girls.

Bruh she's an averaged sized adult woman. She's not as big as people like Rhea but she's never looked undersized against anyone. Where does this weird tendency to pretend Liv is Zelina sized or something come from? Someone like Carmella for example is the same height as Liv but leaner, you'd never see someone say her size handicaps her. Never understood this narrative when Vince spent most of the previous year building her up. They were shoot running vignettes comparing her to Trish during her feud with Becky and playing it up like this generations's Lita vs Trish. She was getting a legitate push under Vince and was clearly earmarked to be a main event player for years to come.
Then Gaytch takes over, buries her on her first defence by making her a babyface champ that didn't deserve to retain and she drops the title after a reign booked with complete indifference and mostly does jobs ever since with nothing to her name but meaningless 'she took really long to lose the rumble' stats to stop the braindead smarks that happened to take a shine to her from getting upset.

Yeah I agree here, Liv winning the belt the way she did was pretty much suicide for her career. Even the most diehard Liv fans were upset because she still looked weak and incompetent. Proper booking she probably would’ve lasted longer as champion and still get good reactions from the crowd.

Literally none of that happened, she was a title filler feud for Becky between Survivor Series and the Rumble. Before that she jobbed to Carmella under 2 minutes in the Queen of the Ring tournament and then after the Becky feud she got jobbed out to Doudrop and then got put in a tag team with Rhea Ripley for a few months, then Ripley turned on her and she feuded with Judgement Day and then she got the pity title run through a post-match cash-in because of Ronda, one of Ronda's entourage confirmed it was Ronda's idea to drop the title to Liv.
