From here until the Sister Abigail was the finish. The crowd wanted it. After this, which happens just 15 minutes into a 30 minute match, The Fiend would only get a few more bits of offense. The entire last 12 minutes of the match had zero offence from Bray. No wonder the fans were bored. It was the same shift as Taker/Haitch from WrestleMania 27.

Referee stoppage in a Hell in a Cell match isn't "something new", it's fucking retarded and a contravention of the rules and lore of the mach itself. If the referee didn't stop the match when Undertaker threw Mankind off the cell why would they stop it here? If they didn't stop Triple H threw Cactus Jack through the cell into the ring why would they stop it here? Not even in Triple H vs Kevin Nash where the ref, Mick Foley, had every reason to screw Triple H did he just stop the match. Then you add in the retarded red lights where you could barely see shit and it was just a stupid and confusing match altogether.

it was a stoppage, not a dq. it's interesting to note that lucha underground did something similar for the end of the first mil muertes/matanza match when muertes flatlined matanza through the bleachers but it was to set up a second match and the fans loved it because it made sense
