Hiring a writing team would solve 80% of AEW's issues, but Snowman convinced himself that AEW fans want nothing but 5* matches and he's the messiah who is providing them. Basically Meltzer of all the people is spot on when it comes to AEW these days.

Part of the appeal from the talent perspective is they have much more control over the promos and details of the programmes they're on, and especially their character. This is good if you're someone that is decent at putting shit together and have lots of ideas, it's bad if you're good at taking lots of direction.
