Why did WWE partner with Japan alot in the past? I just found out Bull Nakano wrestled there in the early 90s. What made them not work together anymore?

In bull nakanos case, they needed joshi to have some sort of womens division and alondra blaze convinced them to bring in some people she used to work with. Then it failed and was forgotten.

Because they were unironically too good and too ahead of their time. Look at the Jumping Bomb Angels outwrestling anyone from that era in like 2 minute sprints in the mid 80s. It's fucking bizarre going from Honky Tonk Man or whatever to Yamazaki wrestling at a faster pace than even modern era spotfests.
Also during the 90s they probably would've continued and could've gotten the GAEA girls that went to WCW instead, but Madusa dropped the women's title in the trash on WCW tv so Vince just stopped bothering with women's wrestling until the based bimbo era.
