It became pretty obvious during his last run. It was obvious in FCW that he had no creativity at all but the NXT writers managed to flesh his swamp cult gimmick out and make it dimes. Everyone blamed wwe creative for fucking it up on the main shows, but it now it seems more likely that he was fucking it up all along.
He used to be a really good worker though.

He needs to ease off the multiple storylines and the cringe puppet show. It's like he wants to show people he can make it as an actor, but his bar is really only for mandrama. He's not that great outside wrestling promos so he should stick to that instead. The stuff with LA Knight was great cause they were going back and forth on the mic and it created memorable memes and moments, the cringe puppets, masks, personas, cryptic messages just ruin everything

Yeah one thing to remember is Bray Wyatt the southern cult leader was not his idea, that was a gimmick given to him. His original idea in FCW was some Slipknot looking fucker called Axel Mulligan and it looked 2002 Horror Movie as fuck.

FCW and NXT knew how to book him as it was their idea, and they played it a lot more subtley than the main roster in terms of the spookiness. NXT Wyatt was charismatic, came across gentle, laid back, but seemed eerily sinister. Main roster Wyatt was that dumb choir of kids chanting "Hes got the whole world in his hands"

Wyatt's ideas are just bad.

But these same people voted him worst gimmick, worst match, worst feud etc. That's what I don't get, they know he sucks, the voted that he sucks. But when he goes away the same IWC spends online talking about it's Vince's fault and Bray is a genius and should be brought back.
