It’s not supposed to be part of the meal, it’s part of the prep and to ensure the meal cooks correctly and is flavored correctly sometimes. Trashy po’whites couldn’t afford to throw away the stale bread they used and ate it and eventually it caught on. Big Bread decided to take advantage of this and sell it to suburban retards in a just add water form in the 70’s. Now plenty of anerifatts enjoy their bread product but it’s clearly an inedible Jannetty. Don’t be like your kinsman. Stuff your poultry and discard it like anyone with any sort of class and taste does. I do my Thanksgiving Turkey spatchcocked, completely deboned and removed of all tendons, stuffed with sausage, apples and porkbelly and tied up with butchers twine. The last time I cooked a Turkey “regular” style I just stuffed it with Onions and Lemons which doesn’t add any flavor at all, just moisture and removes some of the gamey elements of good wild Turkey.
