Jericho's running out of young talent who will risk their careers being vampirized, plus Jericho knowing that if Punk comes back and the Elite/Page refuses to work with him, that Jericho can make HUGE fucking hay out of being the guy that works a storyline with Punk and even rewriting history so that, at least storyline-wise, we get the plot point that Jericho personally exploited the shit that happened between Punk and the Elite to get rid of him for a year. As far as Jericho gloating "I made damn sure Tony Khan kept you off-camera and sitting at home for a year!
