“Feed Me More”, WWE arena used to fill with these chants when Ryback made his way towards the ring. From 2012 to 2014, Ryback used to rule the hearts of WWE fans. He was so popular among fans back then that ‘#FeedMeMore’ used to be on the trending charts.
A wave of happiness went through the WWE Universe back in 2014 when John Cena announced Ryback as the final member of ‘Team Cena’ for Survivor Series PLE, that year. Even after being a fan favorite, Ryback was mostly placed as a mid-card wrestler by the creatives. During his four years as a main roster, he only captured one title. And, he finally parted ways with WWE in 2016.
Being a mid-card talent is not at all easy and thus, Ryback always felt the pressure from fans and media. Now that he is witnessing the same is happening to other mid-card wrestlers, he decided to step forward in support.
Recently, Ryback shared a tweet for the WWE fans. Through his tweet, he expressed his disappointment in wrestling fans and journalists for not giving the deserved appreciation to the mid-cards. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion mentioned that professional wrestling is more of a physical act, where all the wrestlers are assigned a certain role. And yet, fans and media diminish them saying that they failed.
He didn’t forget to point out the fact that no one comes up short when their role is already planned.
Writing his emotions out, Ryback tweeted,
>“Wrestling fans and “journalists” need to learn to celebrate talents that put other talents over. It’s physical acting and yet they diminish them and say they failed etc time and time again. Nobody ever comes up short when it’s their role to do exactly as planned. #Hungry”
