Yeah he was hand crafted to be a heel, and the legend killer gimmick where he just murdered a bunch of old respected fan favorites when people still actually actually gave a fuck about them? It was just simple logic that it would work and it did. That being said, he had the whole company behind getting him over as a heel which helps a lot
