His feud with Ricky was entertaining.
The entire fact that he’s just throwing guys at Danielson actually works here.
MJF doesn’t really have a stable anymore so just throwing money at guys he thinks can take on Danielson who is already willing to wrestle anyone.
Him going back and forth with Regal was great for the moments it was before that had to be killed off too soon.

No, with Jericho he just nuzzled close to the right guy.
With the pinnacle, wardlow was contracted by MJF to protect him while everyone else eventually fucked off because MJF is an ass to everyone.
With Danielson, he’s tossing everyone he can to challenge Danielson’s claim of being the best wrestler in the world who will wrestle anyone any time and getting others to make constant deals with him.

He’s great and one of the better people on the mic in the company.

That promo he cut about his gf and the car crash was the best promo I've seen in years. The storytelling and characterization were absolutely perfect. MJF is pure gold on the stick, and heavily underrated in the ring. Truly, a generational talent.

I agree. He's pretty much the only thing I enjoy in wrestling these days. As great as he is though he still needs someone to play off of and Danielson has been boring as shit character wise in AEW.

AEW has a lot of great young talent. Darby, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara. It's what keeps me watching, I like seeing the next generation being given a chance to show what they got.

MJF has had to pivot from Punk’s initial run and anything to do with hangman. It had to eventually pivot again from Regal leaving.
Obviously it’s in rocky waters, the very last thing the title needs is to panic it into going to someone else right now and shake it up some more.

MJF shouldn’t lose the belt until 2024.
