Even if you believe Tony Khan or Brandon Thurston with regards to the PPV buys (I don’t, I hear the after show estimate and never an actual…and even the actual would probably be worked), their PPV is in the shitter.

That’s now three ppvs and 2 quarters in a row with declining ratings (soon to be 3). It’s not killing it, it’s taken a couple of steps back and is even less in some cases to when NXT was on in opposition in 2021. We get to a full year of tv decline (YOY comparison) and 1-2 more ppvs with declining buys, that’s a recipe for cost cutting and less toys.

Numbers are down because they had 6 months of turbulance and have basically only just really set the ship on a new steady course. It sucks that they'll be going into their worst period of the year only recovered, unless there have been Punk agreements that have been kept radio silent.
