I think Kenny going to WWE and having a big match at wrestlemania 40 is more of a mutual respect thing, hes had a solid career but he seems to be rapidly declining. The fed doesn't exactly "need" him but it could make for some good moments

Kenny's going to do nothing of note/value as far as Tony holding him hostage via time added to his contract until Kenny re-ups.

And with FTR back, expect some sort of bizarro-world "Last Dance" shit where FTR's last match in AEW will be them beating the Bucks after the Bucks interfere and cost FTR the tag titles when they face Gunn Club. FTR beats the Bucks, leaves AEW with the victory so Tony can stay on their good side in hopes he can get FTR to make occasional appearances in ROH down the line since they are the only draws in the Khan era of the company.
