And when Austin was champion a year later, WWF fans sure weren't whimpering about it and asking for Bret back. So if MJF wasn't able to get any kind of rub from that spectacular match, what was the point of it? How spectacular was it really? Should Tony REALLY put all his eggs in one basket with Punk? He's in his 40s, extremely injury prone, every wrestler hates him, anybody who works with him gets buried and gains nothing from it. Honestly if you're such a fan of Punk as a person, which I don't know why you would be, but if you are? Follow him on Twitter and see what spicy things he has to say there.
