This guy tanked WWE's viewership and PPV buys. But he """stopped"" the bleeding so people pretend he drew money. This guy was such a shit draw that WWE was bringing in Floyd Mayweather and Trump to bump the WM buyrates. Then they had to resort to getting Rock and Brock. He was never a true draw.

Cena jumping to RAW was the only time WWE ratings went up. And they would have plummeted further and faster without him.

Roman is undoubtedly a draw. You fags are trying to pull up charts of decline in ratings as proof otherwise. The same could be done for Roman but it would be factitious.
I lived through Cena's debut, ascent and overstay of his welcome. Same with The Shield debut and the forced push of Roman.
I'm not a huge fan of either of them, and they buried so many potential stars to make these guys. But they are both the biggest draws of their respective times.

Vince discussed the network idea as early as 2001 lmfao, it was always a better business model since their hold on PPV $ was like only like 50% in the first place.

Cena took a 4 down to a 3 in ten years while HHH's reign of terror knocked them down to 3.8 from a 5, within 3 fucking years.

To be fair, you can't blame all of this entirely on the wrestlers. There are probably several people over the past twenty years who could have been nurtured into being the Austin of their eras, but thanks to the writing staff (which shouldn't be a thing in wrestling) and corporatized environment, neither we nor they will ever know.
