Reminds me of wrestling forums in the 2000s where people would make their own fantasy feds, usually an alternative version of WWE but booked da right way.
They would write out tens of thousands of words in narrative form for TV shows and PPVs. Usually most got bored after a month or two but some went for years.
The strange thing was that, despite it being a 'fantasy' where you could write anything, most exhibited the imagination of a stone and just bleakly followed the WWE with few tweaks.
The level of autism required for it was really something else.
