I went to my first live show last night. Why don't they play the announcers in the arena? I actually liked the vibe it created, it really made it feel like I'm behind the scenes at a live performance before it's jazzed up into TV content, but I could see a lot of people not liking the absence of it since you're missing a lot of the show. Is it just so the announcers aren't playing double on the TV broadcast since they want to have the live crowd audio playing? Or is it just some culture thing?
