Cornette wasnt booking NWA but was part of the booking comite for the first few PPVs and tapings iirc. But the reason these were good was largely in part of Lagana and Aldis having input on how to produce and structure the shows, the wrestlers coming up with their shits and Corgan taking a step back. Once Corgan decided to be more involved in creative, the shows went to shit with stupid storylines and godawful creative. The weekly shows also drastically dipped in quality in terms of production value which didn’t help.
