When you watch some old sci fi movie you know it isn't real, it probably doesn't LOOK completely real, but if the plot is good and it looks decent enough, you can suspend disbelief and enjoy it. It's the same thing with wrestling. Yeah, maybe the Attitude Era and Hogan Era looked like Star Wars in 1979 or whatever but what we're watching now is like some Star Wars PARODY. they show the actor talking to the tennis ball he said the lines to and never even bother to replace the tennis ball with jabba the hut or whatever the fuck with CGI. So you laugh at the guy saying the lines to the tennis ball, and maybe you find that entertaining, but it's not a Sci Fi movie, just like obviously choreographed gymnastics isn't wrestling
