>>9358913>why did he do it brosI'll tell you
Chris gave his soul to a company that would never love him back. He never intended to be another Dynamite Kid. He hated using drugs, or doing anything illegal... It went against his core values, and Chris considered himself a man of integrity above all else.
However, his character had a glass ceiling, and Chris told himself he'd be okay with that ceiling so long as ANYTHING seeming to be disrespectful came his way.
Being moved off the A and B show was considered a slap in the face to Chris.
Again, he's given his life. All he knows is wrestling. His kid is a midget. His wife is a constant reminder of his profession. The damn newspaper boy is taller than him. The drugs are affecting his mind. So many muscles, so much training, a fucking home gym, breaking the law, and for what? To put over some indie talent on a C show PPV?
The bible, the knife under the bed, the Googled Bible verses and resurrecting crap is just poetic bs Chris left for us to mull over. This happened over 3 days. At any time Chris could've stopped, pulled a trigger on himself, not sent Chavo those messages. Chris wasn't some CTE fruitcake. Chris was methodical.
However that isn't to say Chris didn't snap, because he did. However it was due to all of the other psychological and physiological stressors stemming long before CTE. Fact is even without the head trauma, Chris still kills his wife, kid, and himself every single time. It was just in him.
Also, in a very dark, fucked up way you naysayers do a disservice to the memory of Chris. Good or bad, do you think Benoit didn't have it in him to pull off a double murder-suicide? Damn, his entire existence was having to prove people wrong, and even so in death. His soul burns screaming to you for doubting his murderous intent. How dare we give that southern "devil worshipping" hack all the credit of Chris' final piece. He showed us all there was a lot more to Chris Benoit. Storyline of the year.
