Matches from yesteryear like OP's webm have a certain kind of kinetic energy and pacing to them that makes them feel chaotic and more like a real fight. Moves feel like they carry more impact, strikes look they hit harder etc, etc. This is all amplified by camera flashes and white-hot crowds as well of course. Just go watch any match from the early 2000s and you'll see what I mean.
Nowadays, the moves are more complicated and intricate, but the actual working feels lighter and above all, choreographed to fuck. It's all pre-rehearsed gymnastic routines with staredowns so the fat smarks in the audience can clap. It's way worse.
