Dude me too. On normal difficulty. Whenever I had to hit rolling thunder he reversed and just beat my ass until it was over. Couldn't reverse shit. Granted 2k19 was the last one i played so im rusty. Finally beat that match and a few more and left off on the AJ match. After the latest update it somehow seems easier though so maybe they toned it down.

Oh yeah, might have been the rolling thunder spot as well. Which makes it extra fucking gay since you have to work so long to get your signature meter up and who knows if he might reverse that as well. At least that one was a regular move but yeah, you had to set that up for so long + you could only do it in the north and south side, which you had to read from the menu lmao
I fucking hate these showcase shits, a lot of stuff is only unlockable through that as well, which is why I couldn't download a bunch of CAWs last year, since I didn't wanna do this same gay shit with Rey's matches

Yeah the parts locked behind it and the barrier for caws is the worst. I think trainers can take care of it though. I want to say I used one for that in 2019 and bypassing the vc grind. So maybe we'll get one in a couple days.

Universe was crashing and corrupting a bunch of peoples save files last year supposedly from having too many custom wrestlers or titles or going for too long.

I actually couldn't get past a few games last year in universe mode without it matching my character against an invisible opponent in an unwinnable match and thus inadvancable week.
So far in that regard Universe mode has been good, I'm current NXT NA champ and feuding for the NXT Championship and been through like 3 feuds already. However the "feuds" are just you playing against the same guy over and over again, they haven't improved that
