Hey, so I did some reading on multi man ladder matches and it seems they can last forever because of how quick AI recovers.
Since you are a likely candidate for simming that match I wanted to tell you and see what you think.
Maybe when you have some time at a later date you can run a 6 or 8 man just to see if it lasts as long as I'm reading people online say they do?
Perhaps while making dinner or something, I did read you could turn up the stun duration on wrestlers though.
Might be better to do an Elimination Chamber instead of MitB if that is the case.

Problem with the Elimination Chamber is that due to the fact that it's a game and not predetermined (predetermined wrestling, imagine that). The last entry has a massive advantage over the rest. It might work, just not quite sure.

Thoughts on Hardcore Tourney:
Overall worked really well, we got some DIMES matches and a lot of good character work.
Instantly pushed Syber up the card and her design warrants it, not much of a "hardcore" wrestler traditionally but she certainly feels like someone who physically can hold her own with the title.
Cassie Kade is a fucking monster, tourney proved that, just an absolute murderer.
Cactus Jane and Ava Mortis were star-made as our hardcore specialists, took a beating even when losing. Thinking Mankind.
Mary Mia came back, didn't have a whole lot of story progression from the tourney desu but wasn't hurt by it
Amy and Rabbit got content with eachother, Amy came off looking a bit weaker than pre-tourney but FlamyAnon seems to be working well with it and I can see her bouncing back. She's a fire babyface anyway so a few setbacks won't hurt.
Lightning is a jobber, but that's her arc. Nikabros...... we got too cocky.....
The real enemy of DIMES was the fucking chairs in the top-rope, and ladders and tables being useless. But that's AI being retarded more than anything

"Wins and losses don't matter" and I agree in general terms. But shouldn't the winners/losers of the simulated matches have some bearing on things? For example, X faces Y and X loses, and then X immediately seems to want a high profile PPV match. To me, that doesn't make sense.

You do make a good point, brother. In my opinion, that mostly has to tie into the current storyline in some way, and how important the actual event is. Like the 3-way tag team match was a disaster, but at this point, it mostly fed into individual storylines, like Amy Flame's feelings of inadequacy, Ranger Rabbit's ever-growing main character complex, RR's and PK's relationship with one-another, etc. Big matches have to matter and have to be meaningful in some way, but sometimes, it probably is what it is. It's a difficult question. When we started back then we'd just get in fights somewhat randomly. Skelly already had losing streaks (admitedly because she's small and has no reach in Wrestling Empire kek), and she didn't lose her spot because one result she had (top 4 in the first tournament) was more important.
You see, if Ash lost vs Surfer Girl, I don't think it'd change anything for her with Keron. She'd still have her spot. Now if I got Skelly in a fight and she lost against a rookie, or a low carder, it would be extremely weird because she's the champ right? It would pretty much fuck everything up. Really, I don't have a definitive answer brother

I think this general thought is why NJPW does tag matches, and the singles meetings between people are usually big with high stakes. Obviously we can't control who takes pinfalls in tag matches, but ideally it would be something like Skelly/a partner versus Omega/a partner, where one of the partners takes the fall. But that's what makes the AI so much fun.

just looking at this now, I don't know if having a MITB/Elimination Chamber/etc so soon is such a great idea. We could build an entire PPV around one of those matches, and make it mean something. Not to mention Kuro Noire has not even called their shot yet (or to my knowledge, acknowledged they won in any meaningful way?).
There is currently one upcoming contender, one with a future shot, and then Punk Elf on the sidelines who for my money still deserve a shot sometime.
