I wish I wasn't too lazy to comb through all the RAW shows from that shit era but when Brennan was on commentary it was one of the greatest things when he would say shit like "based, dimes, etc etc." and at one point seemed to be explaining /pw/ lingo to Jerry Lawler. I never see those videos posted here sadly. Only specific line I remember was during the draft and Brennan going "This draft pick is absolute dimes!"

Except it wasn't Orlando Jordan's gimmick. Orlando Jordan really didn't have a gimmick. He was just gay and that was supposed to matter. This is the same gimmick that's been used over and over again, dating back to wrestling's roots with Vaudeville. Gorgeous George. Pat Patterson are two of the best examples of it working. It's always worked. The problem with AEW now and what Orlando Jordan did is that they don't have fun with it. They think being gay is a gimmick in itself and that people are just supposed to love some boring shitter just because they are gay. Dalton Castle did this and it worked because he put on a show and made it entertaining. But Orlando would never make a joke about it because he was just a faggot with zero sense of humor and no one cares about that.
