If you only ever watched AEW PPVs and never the TV shows, you would think it was one of the greatest US wrestling companies ever (minus the women's division). The TV booking is absolutely horrendous which really brings the rest of the company down though

That is correct and one of AEW’s bigger criticisms is that they put on too many PPV quality matches on free tv and focus far more on in-ring than storytelling.
