If they want to keep Cody face then this sounds like a bad idea. People desperately wanted the feel good story of Edge winning the big one again after returning from forced retirement back when he main evented Mania with Roman and Bryan. Now he's all but confirmed he's retiring this year and this will be his last chance. If Cody blocks that, he could easily start getting boos.
