Who even watched this company before it was bought by Tony Khan and buried on a streaming service?
Because how the fuck did anyone watch this or any other indie company unless they lived in the area? Buying DVDs online or some shit? Apparently it had a TV show but it was on a channel I've never heard of.

Anyways, ROH was based until 2010, but by 2011 it was filled with people that were just not good enough to carry a company like Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Roderick Strong, Chris Hero and Tyler Black. El Generico and Kevin Steen were basically the only two people worth a shit as main eventers at the time, so the cards were much weaker.

When it started you had to buy DVDs online or use megaupload/rapidshare links from people who bought and ripped the DVDs.
They also had a short youtube show that basically showed some clips, almost never a full match, and would show interviews/angles that would lead into the next set of shows.
Eventually they got taped shows on PPV and some best of DVDs in best buy.
2007 was probably their best year. But it was hard to follow because their youtube show was simultaneously trying to get you hyped about a DVD of a show from 2 months ago, a PPV of a show from 1 month ago, and the live events that were going on the next week.
Then they got onto HDnet, not sure if that channel even still exists. And switched over to internet PPVs, which always crashed.

It's worth mentioning that no one involved with making ROH good gets royalties off their footage and it's for more entertaining with the original music intact. So you should really pirate them.
I use to tell people to start with 2004 and stop at 2009. But modern wrestling is so bad I think people will actually like 2002 and 2003 if they're a newer fan.

It actually had a good run and was worth watching until about 2015. I rarely watched the TV, but the PPVs were worth watching. Once Adam Cole got a heavy push, it started to turn to shit.

you could download full shows in the mid 2000s man it wasn't like the technology wasn't there. Wrestling Edge/Wrestling Forum even then had a multimedia section with matches/shows.
