>>9425966I want to see cool flashy back and forth fight scenes and the kung-fu genre is pretty much dead. Also wrestling is the last bastion of physical comedy. There are no Chaplins or Stooges or going back to the first point, there aren’t even any Jackie Chans. Pro wrestling is the only place where I can get something like this.
Ultimately I enjoy it as a performance art. I like the fights where people are working hard and I hate when people are lazy shitters.
Also I’ve had to watch almost all of my once niche/mocked interests all become major fads since the late 00s-early 10s and all of them becoming much worse for it. Wrestling is the last thing left on this planet with any soul.
