>>9435879New Japan is in a very interesting spot right now. It's certainly no longer in the coof era. Crowds actually make noise now and there's no horribly booked shit. Some bad matches here and there and shitters or mid people that are way overpushed like Chase Owens and Tama Tonga, but that's always been the case.
But we're also in a transitionary period. There's lots of new talent coming in (and more that's about to come) and they're all finding themselves and not quite there yet. I guess, for comparison, it feels like we're in a sort of 2011-2015 version of New Japan and I want to trust Gedo and say that we're about to enter a firing all cylinders mode soon, but I can't be actually sure that's the case.
