MJF at his core wants to be respected as a wrestler and as a world champion but ultimately is a chickenshit. MJF agreed that if Danielson can become and maintain his spot as the #1 contender, that he would give Danielson any stipulation of his choice. Mr Wrestle man chose an Ironman match because he knows he can go for that long while knowing the chickenshit MJF could never. MJF, in turn, kept throwing bodies at Danielson and paying off people to try and hurt him in an attempt to weaken him for the match or incapacitate him entirely so it never happened.
