They were actually right. The way Regal left (probably Regal's idea) buried the world title, and Regal lied about wanting to train his son to get out of his contract, when he actually ended up mostly on the road with Triple Paul instead of staying in the PC with his son

WWE runs fine without Regal. Trust me, HHH hired him back just to sit on his butt and collect a paycheck. Road Dogg, also hired just to collect a handout from HHH.
