They weren't as fanatical because there was no money mark weirdo to latch onto for them and they didn't understand the basic, Japanese stories. Aew fixed that with the biggest money mark of all time who is constantly online and removing any aspect of story at all. Plus it's on American TV so the fattest and stupidest people can watch aew easily.
There was some sperging and console war shit but it wasn't as annoying as the aewtists.
