>Taz vs Bam Bam (mostly the one where they go through the ring)
>RVD vs Jerry Lynn (any match)
>Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka (any match)
>Mike Awesome vs Spike Dudley (supposedly their highest attended main event)
>Taz vs Shane Douglas
>Anything with New Jack involved was always hype
>Sabu vs Terry Funk barbed wire match (for the shock factor and the fact its one of their most important historic matches)
>Rey Mysterio vs Psicosis (any match)
>Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Malenko
>Eddie Guerrero vs 2 Cold Scorpio
>Dudley Boyz were dimes and must watch so really most of what they did
>The Eliminators were fun to watch
>RVD's tv title run in general

I remember reading supposed dirt sheet plans for him were going to be a long title run with at least the ECW title before he got popped for the weed. I think they may have also wanted to keep the WWE title on him iirc but could be they were going to have him drop it to Edge soon and he was really just meant to be the dominant ECW champ. Considering the reboot was shit anyways perhaps it was really no big loss that things didn't work out for him like was planned.

It definitely soured Vince on the reboot and cemented its doom but it was a walking disaster anyway, the fan reception to those first few episodes was so dire and the ratings started strong but fell off a cliff once everyone saw it was just another WWE show with DQs and all that. Rob fucked up but he was just the fall guy, Vince would have found another.

Actually came in here to post this, glad some /pw/chads recognize. Maybe the best big man/little man match I've ever seen to this day, both guys did so well at making such a ridiculous matchup totally believable.

This is a big 'what if' for me. The ECW reboot truly died at the elimination chamber match later that year, but there were real reasons to be excited during the summer. RVD could have become a superstar.

I'm not sure about him losing the title to Edge because I think his only PPV defense was against Edge and RVD won. He dropped it on TV after he got popped for weed because they just needed to get it off him.

The only way it could have worked would have been giving Heyman full control, but it wouldn't have lasted long. Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu etc. were all old as fuck and the only young guy who wasn't a huge shitter was CM Punk.
