I don't expect this to be a popular post but that's not why I'm posting it. I just hope there can be some discussion here.

Anyway, I'm not talking about his booking or his character, or Uncle Howdy or whatever. I'm talking about the guy himself.

Look, I know he isn't well liked here. That's fine. Everyone can have any opinion they want about wrestling, per the rules of the site and just...no shit?

When Bobby Lashley was announced for the battle royal next week on Smackdown, there were several comments in the live thread blaming Bray for ruining Lashley's situation and "fucking" him over. I feel like this is just absurd.

I understand you don't like him as a performer or wrestler. Again, fine. But whatever Bray is dealing with right now is obviously pretty damn serious if he's literally missing Wrestlemania after his big return. How do you think he feels about that? My guess is not too great (and yes, I saw the picture of him smiling with a fan today).

Go ahead and give your opinions on his character. Shit all over it. Hate it. But for fuck's sake, have some god damn empathy for the actual human behind the character.

Bobby Lashley's path to Wrestlemania hasn't been ideal, but he's going to be there. He's one of the company's biggest stars. The battle royal doesn't change that.

Bray, however is likely not going to be there. I mean, did you want to see that match anyway? So why get mad at him for being hurt/sick and unable to go on with it?

I don't care about whatever his kayfabe story is right now. I just hope the dude's ok.
