They tried to make make WCW as bad as WWE.
Should have just been squash matches and short interviews where the faces and heels established connections with the fans.
The only time something should happen that wouldn't happen at an actual sporting event, like wrestlers attacking each other outside of a match, should only happen when business is down and you need to build some serious heat.
Fans should want to see the good guy beat the bad guy cause they like the good guy and hate the bad guy. Not because the bad guy fucked the good guy's dog.
