Kevin Nash penned a note to his family and friends apologizing before taking his life in at his home in Ponce Inlet, Florida, but did not address the recent backlash he had received from the online wrestling community regarding his sexual assault claims made in 2018.
The Medical Examiner tells The Blast a note was discovered in Nash's anus apologizing for committing suicide, however we're told he did not mention the harassment and cyberbullying he was receiving after announcing of his rape ordeal at the hands of several unknown men in 1992.
As we previously reported, Nash was under fire from fans and other performers in the wrestling industry and was being labeled a "liar", a "bitch" and "fag". The attacks were so vicious, one person even told him to kill himself by taking a cyanide pill.
The medical examiner says Nash was discovered around 3:45AM hanging in his living room. His cause of death is asphyxiation due to hanging.
Toxicology tests are still being performed, and we're told drugs and alcohol were not found at the scene or in his car.
