Let Punk do indies. If you're so scared of fucking IMPACT of all shows, then let him do just ROH. Have a few dates there where he squash a few faggots for the title. Keep him out until January while Cena is the new WWE champion. Have Gaytch take the title from Cena in a dirty finish. Turn him full heel. Make him really bad authority figure. Have Cena lose the rematch at the Rumble because of Rock's interference or whatever. In the post match, have Punk come back to loud pop. Build the story between them from there. have them work shoot each other every week. Build a fucking grudge match for Mania. Then at Mania, have Punk beat Gaytch and become the undisputed champion.

Easy.

Punk leaves the company & wrestles overseas for a year. Title is vacated at TLC, and the Royal Rumble is for the wwe championship. Jericho wins after eliminating Cena, Punk shows up after and declares himself the real champion, now it’s the same double headliner, but the title match has far more stakes. Punk should keep the belt throughout 2012 & defend successfully in a triple threat against Rock and Cena like everyone wanted.
